About
I became a doula long before I knew what a doula was, helping friends and family through the amazing journey of birth. When I was a little girl people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I never said what you might expect; a doctor, veterinarian, fireman… I said I wanted to be a mommy. I never imagined I would be a mommy to so many wonderful families and babies. I am also mother to six beautiful children and married to the most phenomenal husband.
I have been a trained certified labor and postpartum doula since 2003 and have helped welcome over 130 babies into the world. I have been on the Board of Directors for the San Diego Birth Network for the past 8 years. I have also been on the for front of discovering and educating families and birth professionals alike about the affects of Cervical Scar Tissue on laboring women. I travel the US speaking on this subject.
I believe that God put me on this earth to help women have the birth experience they deserve no matter what that looks like. I’m here to support, nurture, and guide your new family with love and a constant re-assuring presence during the labor and homecoming of your child. I specialize in confidence building whether in labor or at home postpartum.
